does anyone else find it amazing how the colors associated with any hip album cover totally dictates the feel of that album? i mean, they're just colors, but almost every album has a unique color scheme to it, and those colors carry such a definite undertone to the feel, the identity of the album....just a thought

I've always believed cover art and everything that lies within the booklet has a huge effect on the record. Take Day For Night for example-would a bright cover have fit? Doubtful....DFN is a great example of how well the Hip combine the music and the cover...M@W was a bit of a jumbled album, yes? And the cover art fit....
Can't wait 'til Evolution, the whole package...

Escape Is At Hand-Tales of a Boy and a Band due June 2013 from Eternal Cavalier Press

I gotta say, I'm loving the cover art. It just might be one of the coolest album covers they've ever had, right up there with DFN, PP, and IVL.

I couldn't agree more. The album covers have always had a huge impact on me.
