Name 5 albums that are currently kicking your ass

Dear Leader (part of the former Shiela Divine) - All I Ever Wanted was Tonight...the Buffalo Sabres even used their song Raging Red in the warm-ups. This one is kicking my ass most and they should be coming out with a new CD soon.

O.A.R. - Stories of a Stranger...different that typical OAR, but still great.

Our Lady Peace - Healthy in Paranoid Times...love this CD still

Doctor - High is as High Gets...too bad they are not touring anymore, I would love to see them live.

Sam Roberts - Chemical City...every song is solid. My fiance even loves these guys and she hates everything I listen to!

The Very Best of Concrete Blond
Stars - Set yourself on Fire
Cool for August - Grand World
Temple of the Dog (Courtesy of this thread, i decided to pull it out again, the solo from reach down is incredible)
Mad Season - Above

And for the Dissappointment side:

Broken Social Scene - You Forgot it in people: Expecting to hear something more radio friendly and lush, i was really disappointed. Feist cant even save this noise (and i like noise too - see: Sonic Youth)

The Happy Mondays - Pills Thrills and Bellyaches
I never get tired of that record...

!!! - Louden Up Now
the layers of funky guitar are incredible

Tom Wilson - Planet Love
it's taken me a while to really get into the slow songs on this record, but he's a great torch singer in his way

Mark Lanegan Band - Bubblegum
this guy has so much soul, so much authenticity

Mofro - Lochloosa
I believe these guys are the jam band of the future, destined to outsell Phish

As for the dissappointing, this should piss a few people off: I really don't like the new Black Rebel Motorcycle Gang album. I prefer their old sound. So there.
