well if they are saying the single is out next week, that could mean the 8th after all. and although nobody has mentioned it so far, a new single means a new VIDEO too!!

Great title! I agree, June 29th is an incredibly long wait. The single (Vaccination Scar) comes out next week, right? If that is indeed the release date for the album, it seems kinda weird that they would release the single so early. I worked at a record store in Ottawa for a while and one thing I learned is that record companies usually release a single approximately 90 days before the album is out. Perhaps the June 29 thing is a mistake and he really meant May 29. We can only hope!

well...if the single is out next week, and the album is out june 29......that makes about an 80-something day gap between the two.................im not sure i follow your may 29 theory.
also, i think that all new albums come out on tuesdays and may 29 is a saturday.
oh well

I also think June 29th is far down the road.
We now know the first single is to be released this coming Thursday(which is a strange day in itself), and a tour to commence this summer. Why such a late album release date? I think this could change. Perhaps we don't have the right information. Normally(now I'm not a statistician), the Hip release there album within a 14 day period that the single is released to the airways. Remember "M@W"? Or "In Violet Light"? These albums had to be released to prevent pirates on the internet from downloading the songs before the release date. Perhaps it's just a conspiracy theory, but it doesn't make sense to wait over 2 months after the first single hits the airwaves that you release the album. Oh yeah, and for all you Bruin fans...Go Habs Go.

Man this is great news to come home to. Great weekend in Vegas capped off with some great Hip news!!
I agree with some of the above... It's looking to be a great summer, My fiencee's moving back home after graduating from Med School in May, getting married in June and new Hip coming soon. Bring it on!!
