Hey all,

I was just sitting here trying to study for an exam and I started thinking of a couple of great songs by Mr. Johnny Cash.

First I was thinking about "Boy Named Sue" which is a great and funny tune.

Then I started thinking about "Hurt" the last song recorded by Cash. It is an amazing song, very moving. i am sure most of you have heard it, but if you havent- definietly give it a listen!

Yeah , whoever thought Johnny Cash would cover a N.I.N. tune , sounds cool though. :thumb:

I couldn't agree with you more lofty, he did a great job with hurt, you could actually feel the song. and 'Boy named sue' is hillarious.

I agree the song is excellent. I would never guess Johnny Cash would cover that song. I also saw the video. It was moving also. It was shot in black and white and showed him performing the song spliced with clips of him performing early in his career. The video is sort of an introspective look at his life, along with some other thought provoking images.

Anyone else seen it?

yeah I saw it a few times, moved me the first time I saw it, especially since it was the last time you saw him and his wife in anything.
