I was in the states all last week and this story was all over the news. All the stations were, tar and feathering this guy saying that he is the guy, even before the DNA were matched up. The guy is clearly disturbed, but what was far more disturbing was how the US media covered this without any positive evidence.
I agree about the statements regarding the Pageant Industry in the states. A six year old in full make-up and teased hair is just wrong, you know the kid is being forced to do this by there parents. It should be shut down.

I noted that his lawyer made mention of his being dragged from where he was and forced across to the USA to be questioned.
I sense that there will be a legal claim coming in for damages because of all the 'emotionalstress' he has suffered during his 'ordeal'
What a great way to make money!!
Say you killed a child, act all wierd and enegmatic, then claim for damages!
How screwed up is this society?
I noticed with glee that there is a 'no win - no fee' place opened about 2 minutes walk from my local A&E, (4 if you are on crutches) ready to sue sue sue...
We are screwed my friends, screwed....

Two things:
1. he hasn't won any claim for damages yet, and
2. he hasn't made any claim for damages yet.
So I think it's a little premature to declare on this evidence that we are screwed.
On the other hand, no shortage exists of real evidence that we're doomed -- such as the inordinate attention paid to the death of one rich little white girl in Colorado.

And you are right, when you think of all the children dying in underprivilaged environments in all our countries who go unnoticed or without the media profile here, it isn't right to pay so much attention on one beauty queen.

ok so he didnt kill the person they thought, which i still think is a family member , but why is this guy still alive?
