thanks to sal who talked to johhny fay tonight in kingston - the hip will release the cd in june , according to johhny- the cd is more faster and upbeat- .. Of course it could be pushed up or back but - june looks like the time for new hip

Hopefully this means tour dates will be announced soon. I plan on seeing them 4 to 5 times this tour and it would be good to start making arrangements to meet up with other hipbasers during the tour. Also I videotape all the shows I go to and I would love to hook up with another taper to try and co-ordinate multiple angles etc.

Oh man. I can't even contain my excitement.
Good way to hold me over -- listen to every other album all day every day.
Or road trip to kingston for no reason at all! that's what I did yesterday!

if you really cant wait, make the trip to kingston on march 19 to see the Practically Hip. they are a tribute to the hip and they play the music really well. they dont dress up like the the hip or anything, they just play the music and do a great job. i have seen them many times and they always put on a good show.

Excellent! I have a feeling the next three months are going to crawl by. I am also going to try to see 4 or 5 shows this tour. It's going to be a great summer.
New CD releases happen on Tuesdays. So I'm guessing the new music will be available on June 8th or 15th.
