thehip.com updated!!!!!
#1

hey all,

www.thehip.com has been updated. It now has an autographed Rob Baker guitar up for charity auction, and it took down Johnny Fay's autographed drum kit. There! Everyone stop whining that the site is never updated......Ha ha. (Boy I hope the band doesn't read this)

Aw nurts....here I was thinking we would have news about the new songs people have been speculating about. All those exclamation points didn't help. Not that I'm criticizing you...I wish the Hip would freakin give us info we actually want.

Ahh Damn I was excited to. I thought maybe it would have been some "real" news. But again it was just about something they are trying to sell....Kind of. O well I guess we will get a real update when the time draws closer for us to buy the album. After all we are just consumers.

Thanks Neil, it's actually a painting by Tom Thomson from 1916, I like his artwork and use it for alot of my avatars. Here's a link to more of his paintings. http://cybermuse.gallery.ca/cybermuse/s ... istid=5427

Oh wow...he has some incredible works!! All this time I've been listening to Three Pistols and I never bothered to investigate the artistic merits of Thomson.

Your link didn't work for me...I went and googled him and found some other sites with his art on them. Ah, the things the Hip introduce us to! I have no idea why that link didn't work for me but it did work for FCH...

I still want to know how people get larger avatars. If I try to make one the same size as yours, Courage, it tells me I can't have one larger than 70x70 pixels. I have mentioned this before and nobody else seems to get this!!

Grooveless, I just checked the properties of your avatar and it says the measurements of your avatar are 80 x 75 and not 70 x 70. Mark's picture is only slightly wider at 80 x 80. Think it's an optical illusion more than anything else..
