Well, I've got a new enough cell phone that I can download ringtones and to my disgust neither my cell provider nor the much music (canadian equivalent to MTV) site (only two options for downloading ringtones) have ANY Tragically Hip ringtones! The stupid Telus site has a shitload of Asian ringtones (not being racist) but no hip.. whats up with that? One of Canada's most popular groups and yet there are countless Asian songs that not many Canadians would have heard let alone heard of.. I think I better email Telus and point this out!
Has anyone seen Hip ringtones for their phones?

Yeah, I noticed that a couple of years ago when they became the rage. My phone had a built in composer so I just wrote some, including NOIS, Little Bones and BAHD. Almost every other song, though, has too difficult a rhythm for my cellphone's musical and rhythmic capabilities.

unfortunately this website doens't work for many phones.
But amazing if it works for yours!!

I heard a while back that some mobile phone service was offering a Tragically Hip ringtone, but I can't remember which service. Apparently the ring tone, which was the first few lines of Blow at High Dough, was really crappy.

Quite crappy. most people don't recognize it until the very end of the first verse. After the first "get behind anything".
Still does the trick. and was the only one i could find.

The MuchMusic "Blow" ringtone isn't that great, but it'll have to do. Fortunatly, I also got a great "Inspector Gadget" theme ringtone at the same time.

I'm actually lucky to have even been upgraded to get ringtones. The phone is being discontinued now. :? They (Cell phone makers) need to make a phone that can allow you to record your own ring tones.. Speaker and mic technology are so advanced now the sound 'should' record/playback pretty well..
