i was thinking what if this private hipbase concert was the next albums premiere show...dont know if this has been mentioned yet, i didnt feel like searching all the different posts...anywho, just throwin it out there

It would be really appreciated if people DIDN'T use sensational thread titles to get attention to something that's not related...I don't want to sound anal or anything, but come on, it's just plain annoying. ESPECIALLY when it's something as exciting as a "new album".

TLB - the thread's title has been changed from when I made that post (and I want to thank the creator of the thread for doing that :thumb: )
The original thread title DID say 'new album premiere!!!' and in terms of sounding like it was actual news about a new album and it WAS overly sensational. Happens on a lot of boards, where people just feel like getting their thread some attention...you're right, it doesn't happen much here. I just didn't want it to start! (Because really...it gets annoying when you see it happen over five or six boards you're a member of)
In the context of the NEW thread title - which I assume is the one you saw - my previous comments did seem unnecessary.
(and I apologize to Clarke if it seemed like I was snapping at you - like I said, it's nothing personal, I just see it happen often elsewhere)

NP 5727, I didn't see the original title of the thread. My apologies to you. And I fully agree with you, we don't have really any problems on this board. It's great to see whole-hearted pertinent discussion where many other boards turn into flame wars and spam dumps.

Funny, this thread almost got out of hand. Way to pull it together fellow hipbasers!
Regarding the private hipbase show...we are working on it. The kind folks at the Hip mangement are now aware of who we are. I think at this point in time, the less we talk about it here the better. No offence to everyone's suggestions, we took them all in and we thank you very much.
We will keep you posted.

I'm happy with my two little triangles...it took me like 14 months to get here and I'm savouring it!
I too am happy we've managed to rein the thread in. I was really worried I might have started something negative, and I'm greatly relieved that it hasn't developed. :thumb:
If I promise not to post anything there...and I do...will you tell me what that thread about Johnny was called? I completely missed it, and I'd like to see it just to see what people had to say. I scrolled down the list of topics, but I guess I must have missed it. (Like I said...I won't start it up again...I just want to read it!)
PS: I agree that we shouldn't talk about the private concert, but only because 50% of Canadians live in Ontario, so if it happened it would probably happen where the biggest fanbase is. I could never afford to go to Toronto for it, and I'd hate to miss something like that!! The less said the better!!
