Good Old Algonquin College in sunny Ottawa. Nothing like dropping $4000 a year for a grade 10 education. And their karaoke nights only have 2 Hip songs to choose from...

I am getting ready for my second year at UNBC in Prince George, majoring in history. Can't wait to get back because working for a living sucks (well in a summer job make as much money as possible in order to survive the winter type way).

I know the HES. Located at the Wibautstraat right? I pass it always when I go to work (work in the Hospital).
When I had to choose for a college to attend, I was thinking about HES or Hogeschool Holland. It became the last one, just because it was easier with the public transport.
Hogeschool Inholland is a good school, with a few negative sites, like, I'm still waiting for some information about the new semester, that will start on Monday and I don't know how late and where...... :?
But I always got a lot of free time.
When I had to choose for a college to attend, I was thinking about HES or Hogeschool Holland. It became the last one, just because it was easier with the public transport.
Hogeschool Inholland is a good school, with a few negative sites, like, I'm still waiting for some information about the new semester, that will start on Monday and I don't know how late and where...... :?
But I always got a lot of free time.

Spent 4 years at McMaster, Hons. BA in Geography and spent three long years in rez. My welcome week bands were Weeping Tile and Moist so enjoy your Theory of a Nickelcreed while you can!!! But seriously the school is good and I really enjoyed the campus layout and all the people I met there. The new student center looks great too!! I spent 4 years paying for it and never got to use it though.
Highlights: Cootes Paradise
Moving bookshelves in Mills
Tim's on Campus (Horton's, that is)
Lowlights: Cafeteria food
Football team always a bridesmaid
The raccoons
Lots of good memories of my time there (and more that I probably can't remember). "I've seen more blurry lights than starry nights"

The HES has two locations; at the Wibautstraat but also at Weesperplein, which is where I used to go. The whole school is moving to a new building in Amsterdam Zuid-Oost sometime next year.
Oh and as for the lack of information.. you wouldnt have been better off at the HES believe me. I've never seen such an inefficient administration at work... omg.... :?

Tim Horton's on Campus is great. Went there this morning and then dropped $690 on books, and I still don't have all the ones I need for first term.

No but the text books for Calculus, Algebra, Physics, Chemistry (all of which I have to take), etc. were about $125 each, not including the solution manuals.

those classes sound pretty easy. ha. i have no idea what books i need yet. how did you know? anyway, i have geo, a&p, biochem, psych, and nursing. i'm looking forward to it.
