So a friend asked me last night who was opening up for Pearl Jam in Vancouver and I told him it was a band called Idlewild. He asked if it was the same band that was playing calgary next week? I didn't know so we checked out the local paper and turns out they were actually playing last night for $15 at the night gallery.
So why not go check them out eh? Good enough to catch the eye of Pearl Jam, probably put on a good show. Well holy shit, that was a great rock and roll show in a small bar last night. 8) Those 5 lads from Edinburgh were having a great time up on stage as was the audience. If you have a chance to see these guys I would do so. Check out their tour if you're intrested:
