I've heard that Gord D. doesn't like air conditioning, therefore he requests it to be turned off before their shows....
Is this true??

Johnny Fay produced and played drums on The Mahones' 1999 CD "The Hellfire Club Sessions". Gord Sinclair also contributed to the sessions...on piano!

Both Gord S. and Paul are avid golfers. The two graced (no pun intended) the cover of "OG" (Ontario Golf) magazine this past summer. Gord is a 15 handicap and Paul is a 10.

A friend of a friend used to be friends with Downie when they were growing up. He said Gord always had a snotty nose... the friend of a friend's father used to always make fun of him for that.

The Hip had a trumpet player before their first album. The band was getting between him and his girlfriend and he spraypainted "The Hip Live Between Us" on a building. It's the image that is on the Live Between us CD. Does anyone know what his name was?

During the tune Put It Off , one of the lyrics goes " I played Love Tara by Eric's Trip" Well Gords solo band Country of Miracles has Julie Doiron playing bass , she was a founding member of Eric's Trip . During " Chancellor" a lyric goes "Crazy Daisies and Wooden Stars ". Julie also recorded an album with a band called The Wooden Stars . Just a Hip-Gord-Julie connection that I noticed.
