Yeah and arguably their best d-man . According to media reports there were alot of long faces on the Oilers team today. Flames actually improved a little. McCammond for a fifth round pick was a steal , especially the way he jelled with Iggy and Conroy last year. We finally got rid of Niedermayer and his contract for a couple of decent prospects. Looks Like the Leafs just bumped up their average age a few years with Gilmour and Housley .(Gilmour was made for the playoffs) Interesting day.

Their farm team is 46-12-6 in the AHL, #1 in the league. They've got a NICE bunch of youngsters comming up. They are a better team then they were 2-3 years ago. Give them 2 years and they'll be amoung the elite. Remember how bad ottawa was?
