Hi everyone. I'm new here, but not new to trading live music. I've been collecting mainly DMB and Rush shows for a few months, plus others as they come along. One tremendous resource for shows from these artists is Direct Connect. Is there a Direct Connect Hub for The Hip?
Thanks!

That's too bad. I find I have much better luck with DC than ftp. I cannot seem to get an ftp program to correctly que up files and then d/l them.
I wonder if DC is something the community could get going again? I don't really have the h/d space to host alot of shows. Not that I'm a total leech. I usually share the shows I d/l for about a month before removing them and getting more. For ex: the DMB hub I'm in has a 4gb minimum share. I keep changing the shows I host because I can't save all of them.
Anyway, it's just a thought....

I agree, DC is great. If there are enough people interested here, maybe we should see about setting up a hub?

Direct Connect is a great way to trade. There are already a few great hubs up for trading. A Hip Hub would be awesome!!

I will host a hub, but can't do both a FTP and a Hub. If anyone is on DSL or Cable they can set one up in a few minutes. I will help you set it up.

Check out the post I just made concerning Bittorrent. I think it would be a great way to get the music out easily, plus reduces the bandwidth needed by each person.
