Semmed very low tempo, even poets seemed kinda slower. I'm still getting over the fact that he said "writer's get laid" in front of the queen.

Agreed Gord did looka little nervous. Pretty cool in General though, Which they had played ABAC :-P

haha, is it me or did the queen look lost and confused when they went off stage?

yeah he looked nervous on its a good life.
on poets he really started to sweat. on song 2? he went crazy. its weird how he said the word LAID but changed the word BREASTED to CHESTED women. hmm. i guess he was being polite to the queen. cool nonetheless.

good rant about the shhhhhhhhsong.....the shhhhhhsong.

Very enjoyable.

Gord wore that shirt both nights in Winnipeg last week too.

I really liked that higher note in "good life". "...find somewhere to grow" and then he hits "grow" on a higher note, which to me, made the song a little more powerful!

Oooo... I hope somebody's going to mpeg this! I'm trapped in Florida, miles and miles away from access to the CBC Cry

I too thought he was a little nervous. Poets was one of the best versions I've seen and heard! I am also going to join the "did anyone record this?" list. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
FYI:
In case you hipsters haven't heard, Rob Baker will be on music notes on Tuesday 10/15 on 97.7.

Cheers,

Chad

She may have been clapping after everyones' performances, but she had that same straight face throughout everything, like she was bored. She could have at least smiled or something. Geez.

I thought they did an amazing job with Poets. I like that version. It was interesting. And that flower he wore on his shirt pocket looked nice too.
