We caught U2 at Rogers Centre about a month ago and they delivered way beyond expectation. U2 has always been on my Bucket List so we were stoked to catch this long overdue show. It was mostly a greatest hits set but having never seen them before it was exactly what I was hoping for. What an amazing band! Seeing Arcade Fire as an opener must have been quite a treat. Thanks for the update.

That actually was Arcade Fire. What a show! Still can't believe they chose Moncton of all places to end their 2+ year 360 tour! I was reading up on it last night, how about these for some crazy numbers. It takes 189 trucks to haul their stage around, which also includes 12 buses & 380 drivers. The stage (there are actually 3 360 stages) cost $40 million, and they have a crew of 550 putting it up/tearing it down.

There were so many highlights for me, but a few that stood out were "hallelujah/where the streets have no name", "out of control", "i will follow", "vertigo", "walk on"...i could list about 20 songs though! They came on stage right around 9:20 & played until midnight! And how about those jets flying over before the show! Very cool

Moncton has now hosted the three top-grossing concert tours of all time at the Magnetic Hill concert site. What next? I think you'll see Bruce Springsteen play the Hill soon...other possiblities would be Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, The Who, Rush, Coldplay, Van Halen, a return of the Rolling Stones (if they go ahead with a 50th anniversary tour), etc. As much as i'd love to see Pearl Jam play there, they just aren't big enough to pull it off. Bands like PJ, RHCP, Foo Fighters etc would be better suited for either the new stadium, or Rock the Hill in Halifax (assuming they following up this years Metallica concert).
