what happened to Montreal was just straight up shitty luck...but i'm not bitter, because they'll be an even better team next year, and they'll be able to learn from the mistakes they made...

You sound like a damn Sabres fan here........f**k next year. I want it EVERY year. and yet never got "It". Damn. 1 cup. It's all I really want (well....) Just win ONCE in my lifetime.........................
Go Sabres

Just needed to fix that quote. I'd NEVER say Montreal was the victim of shitty luck.

He assisted on the winner baby. Wink

Less teeth makes him lighter and able to skate faster.

Anyone watching the Canada/Latvia game? I just got home so i'm not entirely sure what's going on, but the game is delayed, looks like the fans are giving the refs a hard time & pelting them with coins and what not. 8-0 Canada...

it was a crazy game

yeah, that was something else, we went from hockey at its finest in Edmonton last night, to hockey at its worst in Latvia today...still interesting to watch though.

They didn't allow them in 99 when we swept ottawa or 98 when we swept montreal. Everyone still had them. Just cut the handle off and stick it in small of your back. :thumb:

I'm sorry, but when the fans arrive at the arena with signs that say "Referee Go HOME!" and the like and they're allowed to bring them in, they're just asking for a debacle like this...

I remember a time when the organist at MLG used to play "Three Blind Mice" after a bad call...now, they won't even show questionable calls on the Jumbotron...

Live and learn, I guess, but I think it's safe to say that Latvia has seen it's last World Hockey Championship....

The Ducks are the first team through to the semi-finals, and they are playing very good. They've been one of the best teams in the league since well before the Olympic break, and they are peaking at just the right time. Jeremy Roenick said before the playoffs started that they were a very, very strong team and would win the Stanley Cup Smile
