Hot damn bring on Ottawa :thumb:
I can't believe Philly just stopped playing. Did they realize they were playing to keep alive? Hope the Sabres can keep it up but Ottawa actually has a defense so it looks like it could be a 7 series.
And your Habs boys........not that I will ever feel sorry for the Habs but what a shitty goal to lose by.
PLAYOFF HOCKEY RULES.........................

GO SABRES>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> :thumb:

I think at this point I'm cheering for the Canes or Sabres to make it out of the East. I love the beating the Sabres put on the Flyers. That was awesome. Despite some of the obnoxious comments I've made to some of you Sabres fans over the course of the season, they are an easy team to cheer for. No jackasses, no superstars, just a hard working fast skating team.

If anyone would have said (other than us faithful) that the Sabres would have made it to the 2nd round when the season started you had a right to be laughed at. But man what a great season! No matter how it ends it's way more than expedcted. We picked up Tempo (what????) and then he keeps everyone together. The ragging the management got was brutal but damn did it work. Having half the team play for the Amerks last year and make it to the confrence finals helped a hell of a lot. They are fun to watch, and yes I'm being a homer here, but damn it's nice to have MY team still in it :thumb:

See you at game 4

I think San Jose is the team coming out of the west, Hopefully Cal or Edmonton will be but San Jose looks tough to beat right now.

How great have Briere and Connolly played? I mean, they've been performing like superstars so far. I don't know who I'd rather win. I don't really like any of the teams remaining too much.

As for Calgary/Anahem GAME 7, I have a feeling it's going to be rough and I have a feeling they're gonna let them play.

Today in the Herald it was mentioned that the Ducks have had SEVEN 5 on 3's, while the Flames have had none. That's pretty ridiculous.

Yes, I agree that is out of hand. Hopefully the refs wisen up and let the best team win.

I was talking with a buddy about it last night, we'd lost count how many it was, then I read that in the paper this morning. Seven, we've had 0 and the ducks 7!! unreal. Some of the calls, both ways have been downright stupid, I hope they let them play tonight and we don't see another constant pp/pk for the whole game.

Go Flames Go!!

It should be a great game tonight, and i hope the Flames can pull it off. It'll be a tough game though and it wouldn't surprise me either way who comes out on top.

As for the rest of the playoffs, the Rangers and all of my other favorite teams (Tampa Bay, Toronto, Detroit, etc.) are all gone. Because of $$ i hope San Jose wins the West and Jersey the East...but putting that all aside, i'd like to Edmonton win the West and the East, well i really don't care at all.
