Ron Sexsmith fans rejoice (from his website):

Well we've just finished recording on my new record and so all that remains is mixing, mastering, album art and then hopefully we can get it out somehow in 2010. It's been a wonderful session from start to finish and I'm excited for y'all to hear it. With any luck I'll be hitting the road with a full band and a truck load of new songs.

Ah, big fan here.
Thanks for the heads up.
(Hmm, if I needed a heads up, am I really a big fan?)

I like it alot.
Everytime I hear Between The Lines played on the radio I actually think it is Sam Roberts.

He has put this together pretty quick after the last album, really quick considering the amount of touring he has done. I was suprised to see a new album so soon.

He has a show in Toronto June 1st.

I like it. I was never the biggest fan of these guys back in the day, but I do own a couple of their earlier records (Purple is still a fantastic album). The new one is quite good though. Plenty of catchy hooks, some nice bluesy guitar riffs, and Scott Weiland's singing is excellent. Certainly not the best album I've heard so far this year, but It's pretty damn solid.
