You know, Skeleton definitely fits with the groove of WATS. It could have made the album in my opinion. Hush on the other hand - would have just seemed out of place.

Huge thanks for posting the songs guys! Skeleton Park is rediculously good. Hush is one of those Downie CMG or BOTN sideway sounding songs that has a neat little coffee shop groove.

Of the 14 songs I think these two are the weakest. If they had to cut two I think they made the right choice. I wish I could say that about IVL.

These were cut for a reason.

Now the three IVL extra tracks - I have no idea why they were cut.

Hmmm, I can see Hush being cut as it doesn't fit in with the rest of the album at all. But I think Skeleton Park is a much better song than a few that made the cut. (I won't mention which as there is no point in creating an argument over it)

It's quite possibly one of my favorite song intro's on the album.

Both of these songs are garbage. Thank god they didn't make it onto a masterpiece like WATS. Skelton park sounds like a song they were just warming their equipment up to. As far as Hush goes, i have no clue what was going on there. lol

Were these the only two tracks that were released in one of these "bonus tracks" promotions? I seem to recall seeing something about a third one somewhere, but can't remember. I'm glad these turned up here, being in the U.S., qualifying for these wasn't even a possibility.

After a couple listens to each, i'm really digging Hush but not feeling Skeleton Park at all. I went ahead and bought Hush since it's available on the U.S. iTunes apparently, worth the .99 cents on my conscience.

Skeleton Park is definitely my favorite, but Hush is pretty damn cool. As mentioned already, it's got a real Tom Waits vibe to it. Especially the way Gord sings it.

Just heard 'Hush' for the first time...first thing I thought of was Joel Plaskett's new track 'Drifter's Raus' off his 1st (of 3) CD's.

Kudos to the band for releasing these tracks to the fans. Unlike the cuts from World Container that were never released. We should be grateful for hearing these, and I think Hush and Skeleton Park - like many of the tracks off WATS, will grow on us. It is just too bad most will not play them often enough for that to happen.
