I'm in MTL at a conference and it was cool to see everyone here go nuts with that goal.....except for the fact that I've got a bunch of 'canes in the office pool.
Oh, and for the recoird, MARTY TURCO SUCKS ASS. I haven't seen a 'tender so good in the regular season and so brutal in the playoffs since CuBlow was a Leaf.

is it just me, or did the Colorado game mirror the Montreal game?
only difference was Huet still looked really good in net, and Theodore not as much so.

Im not happy about them letting Carolina back into the game like that, but its a win and its in the playoffs, so its all good.

I know its still early, and I hate to say it, but I think the Sabres are going to be the team to beat in the East this year, they look unbeatable right now. Plus I hate the Flyers, always have, looks good on em.

Sabres are playing good, but Philly is playing shit right now, i think NJ might be the team to beat, but they're not getting much of a challenge from NY either, so it's hard to say...
right now though, if you're Montreal, Carolina is the team to beat...two more times.

Was a sweet night of hockey last night ---- I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The Sabres were amazing ---- nothing could shake em. I was a bit scared during the Habs game after they lost their lead --- but watching em come back and win it in double OT.... Talk about great hockey, what a night! Already loving this years match-ups for sure!

Sabres were awsome last night. I have no doubt Philly isn't gonna roll over and play dead Wed. but they looked so bad last night. I could have done without the USA chant on esche. I know why they did it (olympic slight for Miller) but it seemed cheesy. Kinda like sports radio starting some dumb rumor and idoit fans going with it. The fans were on him all first period and when he tried to fight at the bench that was funny as hell. He was a man possessed.
As good as the Sabres look I'm still worried about New Jersey. They knocked around the Sabres all season. That's the one team I don't want to have to face.
