Only got about 3 hours of sleep because I stayed up for the Hour. IT WAS WORTH IT! Watching the live performance (although, yes there was an issue with RB's guitar volume) blew me away! I think Downie is way more focused and is clearly into what the Hip are all about again. I haven't been this interested in hearing new songs live since PP. there is something really good happening with the band and this album IMO.

This is the best GD has sounded on vocals in a long time. The band was amazingly tight with the new stuff. WOW!

i didn't notice anything wrong with rob's guitar in the web site streamed version.

really, cause there definately was an issue. you could hardly hear the intro to Rink...

I agree. The band is super tight. Hearing Rob's guitar on IN VIEW should answer the questions people are asking about how it sounds without keys. When I was listening on TV, the song sounded off but hearing it the way it's meant to be heard resolves my doubts about them being able to play it without keys. Gord sounds GREAT!

You CAN hear Rob's guitar on the web, unlike when I watched it on TV.

Yea, you could hear RB's guitar but it should have been much louder. In View has to sound absolutely awesome live in person.

All of this excitement is just killing us here in Detroit. The Hip usually play around here at least a few times per tour but nothing yet..... Hip on TV, Hip on the radio (93.9 everday several times) but no concert.... Cry

I'll check out the website version of the Hour.

Wow!! I never thought the song World Container would actually sound GOOD live. I want to find a copy of that show and rip the audio and replace the album version with the live version!! how much better of a conclusion would that have been,....sigh....

I though the boys really hit their stride during In View. Cant wait for it on the weekend.

Love George. He actually seemed to be pickin up what Gord was layin down and that isn't all that easy.

I recorded it via High Definition receiver, and i will admit the mix was a bit low on rob, nothing intollerable.
