But I could care less about having the tape itself. I was more or less bidding on an opportunity to hear those songs - I'm a sucker for demos.

the best thing would be for the seller to pull the auction,keep the tape, then post it.then again he's now getting some easy money.

That's sick.
I hope that they share it, but when someone spends that much on something, sharing it freely is probably far from the top of their list of things to do with it.
Perhaps someone should send the winning bidder a friendly note asking him to share it?

Nope. The description say’s 1996…but I seem to remember the lightning bolt image was used back in the PP days, which would be 98/99. Could be wrong though…
