Yeah, it's pretty messed up to read. Hopefully this will bump it to a new page.

Douglas Wrote:Thats actually a little flattering. I just beak you and move on but you actually took the time to read 45 of my posts. I was just guessing when I called you a knob jockey but it turns out I was bang on. I dont like you that way OK. Sorry I didnt post until today but I was too busy watching my bandwagon team clinch their division.

In my humble opinion.........
1. Bertuzzi had a poor season. He took way too many nights off.
2. Naslund had a subpar season for his standards. After the Olympic break he just wasn't a good enough player to lead his team into the playoffs. Naslund has been a GREAT player for a while but he was only good this season.
3. Auld was actually pretty good in his first full season and proved he could be a #1 goalie. The only problem is that he proved he is a decent #1 goalie, not a great one. He played as well as could be expected but couldn't steal enough games to save the Canucks when they couldn't score.
4. Losing Salo and Jovo after the Olympic break didn't help matters any.
5. Is it just me or did the team make the same mistakes game after game? What exactly did Crawford do this year to warrant being brought back?
6. They don't have a shutdown line against opponents. They don't have that third or fourth line to play against the other team's top guys and shut them down.
7. Overall, I think the chemistry was bad and to me the team looked like they tanked it for at least half the games down the stretch. The effort wasn't there.

I wonder how much Brian Burke has loved the past couple of months. I've tried to defend JFJ in the past but now I really wish the Leafs had hired Burke instead. I mean he turned the Canucks into a playoff team, gets canned, takes over in Anaheim, turns them into a playoff team, and the 'nucks miss the playoffs.
And perhaps the best thing about Brian Burke was the time he called out Strachan on HNIC. That was awesome.
) but the time Burke called out Strachan was priceless. Al "no sources" Strachan.  chancellor Wrote:Tampa loses in the Shootout
). I'd love to see a first round match-up too of Ottawa/Tampa. Brad Richards is playing great now too, which is nice to see, a career best 89 points and counting.
