Habs were crap tonight, Im very dissapointed in that display. How bad do you want in the playoffs!! Better smoke the Bruins tomorrow night, or I wont be able to sleep for a week.. :x
*Brier's goal in the third was sweet by the way, I like that guy I wish he was a Hab.

Since the Thornton for a bunch o crap trade:
Thornton: 55GP, 19G, 67A, 86PTS, +28 and the Sharks are in the playoffs.
Sturm: 49GP, 22G, 19A, 41PTS, +12
Primeau: 50GP, 6G, 8A, 14PTS, -10
Stuart: 53GP, 10G, 21A, 31PTS, -5
NET: 152GP, 38G, 48A, 86PTS, -3
That's right folks! Rather than have one player who can produce 86 points in 55 games, why not get three who can also produce 86 points.......in 152 games!
Seriously, is being a GM in this league really that complicated?!?

Yup, misleading it isn't. Since anywhere up to three players can received a point on any given goal, it is fitting to describe their productivity in terms of man-games. Sturm, Primeau, Stuart = 86 pts in 152 man-games. Thornton = 86 pts in 55 man-games. It looks like Thornton just needed a change of scenery. Good luck to the Sharks in the playoffs.

It looks as though Thornton and the Sharks are going to sink the Nucks this year, I have a couple friends who'll be crying in their soup soon I think.
They have a talented team, but when will Vancouver wake up and get themselves a real no.1 goalie. Get rid of Bertuzzi this summer and get a goalie is my advice. Kinda sucks not having all the Canadian teams in the playoffs though, just shows how tough the West is right now. Anyone else think the NHL seriously needs to consider re-alignment and changing the scheduling? I think its stupid the way it is right now, no reason why T.O and Montreal cant play more games against teams like Detroit, Chicago and especially the Western Canadian teams.

Looks like everybody's favourite meathead Sean Avery is done with the Kings for the season. He is a free agent at the end of the year. Are there any teams crazy enough to pick this headcase up?

Could somebody post a link or tell me what happened to Avery. I just heard a bit onthe radio saying he was released or something.
