Looking forward to this show! We will be representing Prince Edward County(20 minutes from B'ville). Both my wife and I got tickets so I feel very fortunate. I hope this compares to the theatre shows I have seen in Dublin and Chicago. Just to let everyone know this theatre is amazing! It is owned by Mark Rashotte, a musician himself, who plays in a very succesful Beattles tribute band called "All you need is Love". My uncle was speaking with Mark the other day to inquire about tickets, and apparently the Hip were responsible for approaching the Empire about this show. I know Rob Baker was at the Colin James/Colin Linden show a couple of months ago. Don't quote me on this, but, there is talk that the band may be recording some of the set for future release. I guarantee that anyone who is lucky enough to be going will be blown away by the sound in this place! Cheers.

Since it's all hipbasers and thehip.com fans supporting this show, perhaps we'd be worthy of being fortunate enough to purchase this show recorded in video/audio through live downloads one day.......wishful thinking eh!

I cant wait to see what this turns into. And to add to what Jamie said, sinse this is a show supported by hip.com users and I would guess a large group of hipbasers, perhaps some rarities might slip into the setlist.
