ManMachinePoem Concert Livestreams / Periscopes?
#91

I just realized you can watch already-closed Periscope feeds by clicking the play button again. So now I'm re-watching What Blue waiting for the next feed to start :p

Vocals should be mixed louder

That had more to do with that specific audio feed I think Rob. (Their quality came in and out throughout the show but vocals remained quiet throughout)

I checked in on another feed from time to time from someone in the nosebleeds and it sounded much better.

With that said, I still watched the feed from the front row for most of the night. Thanks to all those who take the time to broadcast these shows! Awesome to see!

That Periscope feed was great -- plus, I was really happy to figure out how to turn off the comments from the feed.

I was mirroring an iphone to an apple TV. With the feed open swipe left in the app (I think it was left...if not try right) and it will show a profile of the broadcaster -- on that page there's a "turn off chat" button bottom left. It only applies to that broadcast, so if you switch feeds or the broadcast drops and returns you have to do it again.

The comments were driving me crazy.

I guess you need the app to find live scopes.

Is anyone recording these live streams and putting them on youtube? I'd like to watch them but I don't want to see any until after the show I'm going to (Aug 5)

All the streams are still online, for now....

Viewing the shows via Periscope on a PC. No way to turn off comments (only on phone app I believe). Put a blank notepad up in the lower left corner to block them. For every good comment there are ten annoying ones. Distracting...thank you to all the streamers!

For the veteran hipbasers, Who else remembers clicking refresh every 3 minutes in the concert thread, for someone at the show to text a hipbase.com to update the thread with the setlist being played. Wow has technology come a long way in just a few years...

As I was listening to Vancouver #1 yesterday I was thinking pretty much the same thing. I remember when a tour was going on watching set lists and reading reviews to find the shows you'd want to trade for and then hoping someone recorded it. Then, hoping that whoever taped it wanted something on your list or was willing to do a B&P for it.

Now, a few days after the start of the tour and I've already heard two shows.
