well I guess I get fuck all. Somehow I managed to get tickets to a single show at the Whiskey no problem back in 2004, but I somehow can't seem to manage a single ticket to 4 shows in a much larger venue??

Well, my lovely girlfriend managed to get us Sunday tickets, so all is not lost. I'll try for Saturday again tomorrow, and then on Friday if necessary. Half yay!

I feel your pain -- let's cross our fingers for Friday, and hope some of the nice folks here that were lucky enough to get tickets stay away from Ticketmaster on Friday @ 10 a.m!

Funny thing is, I had an easier time getting U2 floor presale tickets...

I managed to snag 4 tix for the Oct. 29th show with no problems. However, I feel pretty bad for the folks who missed out. The fact that they had 3 different pre-sales for the Calgary show is probably why they went so fast. (HOB and CJAY 92 were the others). This is why the old HipClub pre-sales were so much better in my opinion. Only the diehards were allowed in, everybody got tix, and everybody was happy. Now it seems like any idiot off the street can register at thehip.com and buy presale tickets along with those of us who have actually followed the band's career for the majority of our adult life. I'm usually not one to bitch, especially after I managed to get tickets, but that just doesn't seem fair to me. At least you guys can still try for the public on-sale. Good luck!

Yup. I look forward to playing a spirited game of "spot the Nickelback fan who happened to hear on the radio that there was a pre-sale for the Hip." Should be fun.

Damn - Toronto and Vancouver have a 2 ticket limit.
Calgary has a 4 ticket limit.
