Does that mean scalpers and those bot things can't do anything?
I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

Please forgive me but what are you guys talking about "presale" ?
In full disclosure, Im from North Carolina (longtime lurker on the boards) and never had to buy tickets through a presale to see the hip in the US at any of the 12 shows I've seen here.
I saw someone mention an email, and I've scored my emails but dont see any mention of a presale password. I thought I have been a member of any hip related clubs or email lists for decades, but obviously not? Just saw the ones about the news of Gordie and some Chardonay for sale? Need to look through spam I guess...
I'm planning to make the pilgrimage to Canada for at 2 weeks (tickets or no tickets) and have rooms booked for the London - Kingston shows and had hoped I would get to see at least one show along the way for face value and not have to pay the scumbag scalpers prices.
I know its a longshot to even get tix, but if there is a presale, they'll all be sold out by Friday I'm afraid....
Regardless, I'm excited to spend some time in Canada and meet some fellow hip fans. I only know 5 in "real life" as no one knows who there are down here so it will be nice to experience a show with other real fans.

If you have an account, and you can log into your account on thehip.com, you are registered to receive a forthcoming fan club e-mail with presale information. I do believe that even if you do not have an account, you simply have to register for free and you are eligible for the presale. These sell out instantly, and if you don't get tickets, you have to go through the exact same stressful as fuck process to pull up tickets when they general onsale goes.

Fellow Canadian friends, if I am so fortunate to claim some presale tix for either of the Toronto dates, what are some Hotels I should look at near the ACC? I'm coming the day of from Buffalo. Thanks!

There are tickets up on Stubhub. Are they for real? I bought 4 for the Toronto show on August 12 in case they are real. This is very stressful.

Hi all, so sorry about the devastating news. Long time Hip fan and new to the forum...Question regarding"credit card" shows, I am from downstate NY, and little iffy if I can get up there for a show.
If I were lucky and get a Ticketmaster ticket, would the "credit card show" prevent me from reselling (at cost, of course) on stub hub if I were unable to make the trip?

Ten Club ticketing's so good. ALTHOUGH, in Ottawa this past tour, I had an interesting experience in which I discovered there's someone else in the fan club with (basically) the exact same name as me...but with a much worse fan club number. He was given my tickets; I was given his, which were two sections and about a thousand rows higher than they should've been. Long story short, Ten Club gave me an upgrade, the other guy got really good seats, and it was a helluva night!

lol, my post on the 'official' Hip forum on Facebook got removed because I had the audacity to mention that maybe they shouldn't be helping out the people who are attempting to NOW sign up for the fanclub.
Hearing of fairweather fans/non-fans trying to buy just because the demand is high is pissing me off beyond belief.

just scrolled though as much of the facebook hip page as I could stand and was really suprised to see the number of people complaining about the tour dates and locations....Maybe complaining, is too strong of a word, but effin-a , this guy has terminal brain cancer.....I'm not sure how many people would be willing to spend one of their last months alive touring with terminal brain cancer.

I agree; no complaining allowed regarding locations, venues and set lists from here on out.
