I don't even know how to respond to that.

I like how in addition to your wife, you felt like you had to yet further sweeten the deal with the vinyl. :thumb:
LOL

if i win, you will get the shoutout you so deserve. :music

Congrats BIGVDOGG on the sale! I was thinking of entering the sweepstakes for the copy, but I have an opened copy already, and the finances just aren't there right now for a sealed keepsake.

Yes...congrats. So a sealed copy of LBU breaks the $400+ barrier! Now I'm certain the next sealed copy of TATH will go for $500+, if we ever see another one. LBU is pretty rare, however TATH is in a league of it's own, so I guess the sealed copy I sold here for $350 recently, was a pretty good deal :thumb:

i think this was a case of two people who REALLY wanted the record, so I wouldn't be shocked if the next one goes for a little less. IF there is another mint sealed copy going up.

it skyrocketed near the end.

i put in a bid of 420 ( :what ) with 30 seconds to go and that was when the bidding was 285 or so, then to my shock with 4 seconds left it hit 413....i thought Id lost.

Ebay auctions are easy to win, just be willing to pay more than any other record collecting psycho out there and it will be yours. Then when payday rolls around, you have more money and the record!

This is the most I've ever paid for a record. I feel ashamed and excited to be honest. It is a lot of money. Fuck, is it a lot of money. But who cares!

Unless I buy a benaroya hall set, which I might, This is the highest I will go, unless there is a TATH.

I have been pretty much in some form of debt since I was about 19 years old. I paid off 21,000$ dollars worth of debt in under 2 years, so this is my treat to myself. I am currently paying off my wife's debt now ( ) after which I may treat myself to Benaroya Hall. (2,000 copies only fan club only, VERY sought after Pearl Jam collectable going for anywhere between 900-1500$ open/sealed). I used to own one, but to get out of debt, I sold some stuff. Big Grin

Anyways, there you go, I will cherish my LBU for always.

BIGVDOGG, you better pack that thing up, double boxed, bubblewrapped, take extra care mang!

Thanks

P.S. - You know this thing is getting opened on youtube. You gonna put something fun inside for the opening? Any ideas? People have sent me stickers, posters and even food inside with the records!

I'd like to live in a world where I have MORE money after winning a vinyl auction for $413.

It's a lot of dough, but it's a great record, which can be enjoyed forever, long after the $400 would have been blown on various other vices Big Grin

I work a second job pretty much to support a terrible a vinyl addiction.

So I am working hard for this money, don't want to come across as some guy sitting on his laurels with tons of money to throw around.
