WOW

just got back. That was by far the best setlist I've ever seen, and an incredible show. So many rare songs!

I have a feeling they were practicing the songs they'll be playing live...I have a feeling the rest of the shows will feature a subset of these rare songs, mixed in with the usual classics...but wow what a treat!

PS: Gord gave lots of great background info about some songs that he's never mentioned before...just one example: In Grade 6 Gord's favourite teacher always drove to school with a canoe on his car - written on the canoe was "Grace, Too".

I've heard him do this one live before. "You ought to name yer boat, but you don't have to name yer canoe/but he did name his canoe, and he called it 'Grace, Too'!"

AMAZING setlist, btw. So jealous - they BETTER come to DC.

There aren't enough people commenting yet, and I'm too stoked to sleep, so I'll just reiterate how incredible that was.

I would have paid the $20 for Titanic Terrarium alone. Everything else was bonus.

Someone asked about Gord's voice. It sounded great, especially in the softer songs. Titanic sounded exactly like the album.

EPIC!

Pittsburgh 2006.

I think the entire audience has adjourned to a nearby pub. Should be some amusing posts later tonight, and a coffee-fueled surge of reviews in the a.m. Can't wait to hear some audio!
