srb Wrote:Could somebody please explain how I can get the Live Atlanta show into the player. I press the <Add> link but nothing happens, then I load the Music Player. Yesterday, the live section was just blank, now it's not there at all.

Is this one of the bugs currently being worked out, or am I missing a step?

what i did was I first added a song from an album then things started working, I was able to add a show after that, I tried adding the Atlanta gig and it went in the player, its just not working for me either.

I will not give up. My face is set,my gait is fast,my goal is heaven,my road is narrow,my way is rough,my companions are few,my guide is reliable,my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity. I will not give up,shut up or slow down....Blessed Be!

Other than that, nice fresh new look!

Yeah, some of their merch is scandalously overpriced, for sure. $50 for a puck, hat, and scarf? :what $60 for a hoodie with thin fabric? :?

Have you been to a mall recently? Check out the prices for toques at SportingLife.ca or any other retailer for comparison as most of them are around $35. Scarves are in that range as well. More of a Gap guy, you'll spend at least $30 for one.

So, SportingLife.ca is scandalously overpriced also. :rambo:

I can get a licensed NHL toque at Canadian Tire for $13. Is The Hip's logo worth $20 more than an NHL logo? I guess so, but it shouldn't be. I can get a puck for $0.99, and a scarf for $9.99. I don't think a Hip logo should cost me an extra $25 or so.

Walmart has hoodies for about $12 that I reckon are about the same quality, too. Is the Hip logo on a hoodie worth almost $50?

We don't have a Gap where I live, so I can't speak on that store. I'm sure that it is overpriced, also.

I guess I'm just not a highrolling spender like some on here. :what

Dark Canuck17 Wrote:Exactly that is at least what they cost. I have that hoodie and it is actually very well made good luck finding these products like this cheaper anywhere.

I don't need luck. I can get those products of that quality for at least half the price without really looking too hard.

$35 is the going rate for a toque? Not where I live, it isn't.

I'm not singling out The Hip or anything. I think that ALL bands (relatively big acts) charge way too much for their merch.

If it's too rich for your tastes I'm not going to try to convince you otherwise. But that wasn't the point of my original response. The debate of price is silly anyway as it should be about value. You clearly don't see $50 of value in the three items; I do. End of story.

Hey, so I am just finishing up the left over issues on the Music PLayer.

Today I got the Yer Favourites workings, add|remove song|Show|album has been updated, but there is one more update to go - shortly - it will happen tonight.

To get a show in, currently, you have to add a song first.

Humour me and add a different show until tomorrow :rambo:

By the morning, the Listen section and the music player will be completely solid. I had to make a bunch of changes to work under load, and they will be implemented momentarily.

Then I will check that show.

Wow. This looks great! Nice work MAv! :thumb:

Is there any chance that we can get bigger album art images for the Live From The Vault Series? I just downloaded the '95 show and the album art images embedded in the files are criminally tiny.

Hey there. Still digging the new site. How can I upload my playlist to be viewed by others? I keep clicking on the +Load Default, but nothing is happening. Also, are all the songs in the playlist supposed to show up in the player or just one at a time? I only get one (the first one). Or is this some of the bugs still being worked on? Thanks.

There were links to full-sized images beside the shows in the Gift Shop (I think that's where they were). I grabbed all 3 covers at roughly 2.5mb each.

SRB is correct -- they're linked in the Gift Shop. Here's the '95 show: http://thehip.com/gift-shop/productViewe...xCover.jpg
