Supposedly Plant has agreed and the summer of 2009 is looking good.

Rock icons Led Zeppelin are planning to record and tour sans frontman Robert Plant, according to a report by the BBC.
The band, which reunited for a tribute to the late Ahmet Ertegun last December, is said to have already begun auditioning replacement singers for Plant, who has dragged his feet with regard to a reformed Zep.
Bassist John Paul Jones told BBC Radio although he, guitarist Jimmy Page and drummer Jason Bonham are raring to go, the search is a complicated one.
"We want to do it. It's sounding great and we want to get on and get out there," Jones explained.
"It's got to be right. There's no point in just finding another Robert. You could get that out of a tribute band, but we don't want to be our own tribute band."

This is a terrible idea. Without Plant, its not really Zeppelin. The lead singer of a group, more than anyone else in the group, is the main part of the group's image. I'm certainly not comparing Zeppelin to CCR(evival), but that would be like the example you recently cited Sean, CCR(evisted). It isn't the same without Fogerty, Queen isn't the same with Paul Rogers instead of Freddy Mercury, and Zep wouldn't be the same without Plant.
