At the commodore he had it on for about 2 or 3 songs at the beginning of the set. I heard it was about the same at the gorge.

I was thinking more specifically of the freeweights. The very brief shot of Gord working the weights immediately reminded me of Lester (played by Kevin Spacey) working them in an attempt to get in shape so he can get with his teenage daughter's friend. Very similar. As for the rest of the video's opening, Gord being in bed and Gord clipping his nails don't conjure up any AB references to me, although in the beginning AB, Spacey is in bed but wants very much to stay in bed, while Gord, after hemming and hawwing about it (flipping the sheet back and forth, etc) finally springs out of bed.

I liked it. I like the black and white form too. But, (as my wife points out, just watch the damn show), he calls the girl in the DAYTIME and She's in NIGHTIME. Is he supose to be in NY too or across the pond? Just sayin

I'd have to look again, but I believe her shirt says Shanghai Herald Tribune. Though it may say International Herald Tribune, which is printed in Paris. Either way, I took it to mean she was across the pond.
