my favourite intro to a song is

That song was originally called "Itchy Teeth" ...and A LOT of their tunes used to be developed inside of NOIS.

"It's the song I hate" is either a direct quote from a Sonic Youth song called "Youth Against Fascism" or is just a coincidence, but Gord strikes me as the type of person with an eclectic taste in music so I like to think that's a reference to Sonic Youth.
