Well... since I was the first one who posted regarding the first trade, I feel I should say something. I had no intention of it mushrooming to a big issue the way it did... I just thought it seemed like a bit of an unfair trade. But if it had gone through, I wouldn't have been too bothered... I have no shot at first place, so it wouldn't have affected me.

Anyway, for what it's worth you'll get no argument for me with your latest trade effort.

I don't really care one way or the other, but if I did I'd question why trades can be made right before the playoffs start.

Well, we're into the final week of the season and it's looking like ron's beatnics are well on their way to finishing a Cinderella-run to the title...

After finishing 6th in the regular season portion of the pool, he summarily dismissed the third-place E-3's and then won a tie-break over the second-place Big Red's Dream Team to advance to the final against yours truly (who narrowly took first overall)...

Long story short, after one week of the two-week-long final, if I had a white flag, I would wave it...ron's officially kicking my a$$...

For anyone who still cares (and hasn't fully and completely moved into hockey mode), here's where things currently stand:

Congrats to Mike for having the best reg. season team, and it looks like congrats are in order for Ron, save for an unbelievable comeback by Mike, for winning it all.

My team was absolutely pathetic the first couple of months into the season, and somehow managed to move up as the season wound down. It's been great fun and addicting (my girlfriend says she is resigned to be a baseball rotissere league widow after we get married). Hope to see ya all next season! :lol: :thumb:
