In Halifax on Bayers Rd, there was (or still may be, I can't remember) a sign in front of a little apartment building that says "if you lived here", and another at the far end of the lawn that says "you'd be home by now". Not sure if the sign or the song came first

Dude, are you from Halifax?

I remember that sign! My bus used to go by it every day on the way to work. Little tiny signs, and it always seemed so corny...every time I saw it I would think "If you lived here...you'd live ON BAYERS ROAD!!!!!" Give me Herring Cove or give me death Big Grin

I'd like to think the song came first, but I think those sings have been there since the last ice age.

"superfarmer" is in both poets and the rules; "chambermaid" is in both vapour trails and escape.

"chambermaid" also appears in SF Song on CMG. Tongue

At the Muchmusic I&I, I noticed they all had Heinekens. Aside from Kate fenner who had what would appear to be a glass of wine.

In order, here are the bold text lyrics that appear in the D4N lyrics jacket.(punctuation, emphasis added by me)

Metropolis Noir

Take a look at this photograph, book
Make me feel insanity
Move through night bemused
Winter in the dark, i'm helpless with space
We're no longer relevant...EMERGENCY

If there's glory in miracles it's that they're reversable

This sounds like something that would only be legal in Amsterdam, and even then, it would be very expensive.
