Tell that to the doctors who lost millions in malpractice suits for not correctly diagnosing her bulimia.[/quote]
Are you saying it's the Dr.'s fault she had an eating disorder?

Anybody see the latest South Park?
Kenny is in a vegitative state and has a feeding tube in. Everyone is arguing (Cartmen wants to pull the tube) and they call in the media and the Devil gets the Republicans involved...all because the lawyer can't find the last page of his living will.
In the end, the lawyer finds the last page...
It says: "If I wind up in a vegitative state, please, please, for God's sake, don't let anyone see me like that."
South Park hits the nail on the head.

I know it's time to leave thias alone, but I finally found a Web site that links actual documents frm the case (among other stories about Florida law):
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://abstractappeal.com/">http://abstractappeal.com/</a><!-- m -->
I'm just posting it because there were a few posts discussing what actually took place with regard to Terri's care, the malpractice suit, the families' behaviour and so on. If nothing else it makes for fascinating reading for those who are legally inclined.
