I think it is really tough to pass judgement on the set lists thus far - I mean this hasn't really been a flow blown tour yet.

Playing different set lists every night takes a lot of hard work and devotion by the band. Being a hip fan, I could only dream of a different set list each show...ie. pearl jam or rem.

It all comes down to rehersal. I'm sure if the guys decided they wanted to play when the weight comes down at a show in Detroit, it would intail them to re-learn and then reherse it a few times at sound check. then hopefully it would turn out successful in the show.

Playing rare stuff is really a task sometimes. I've been through it with bands I've been in..hell even my own songs...i have to go back and take a look at the lyric sheet and listen to the cd sometimes.

That said, it can be done though...look at Pearl jam. they do a totally different show every night. Different hits and different rarities. They also bootleg their own shows and sell them on the net....hmmmm...what a great idea for the Hip. All that takes is to run the sound through the board and into a couple A-dats. There is a market for it, I don't know why they don't go that route. Would be nice if they did...

no shit, i've often wondered that myself, i guess Peaarl Jam have their label by the balls though, and that's the big difference...MMMMMMMMMMMMM PEARL JAM *drooling*
