Well, I upgraded two rows and closer to the centre. If anyone wants two row 6 tickets a little off to the right, let me know. Face value plus shipping if necessary.

I was able to get row 5. Since I wasn't anywhere near a computer for the presale I thought I'd get a crappy seat today, so I'm quite pleased.

rant warning...so i am on ticketbastard and manage to get 15th row after turning down about 20 different sets, then i log back in 10 minutes later to check the seat numbers to see how centre they are and it shows i have sec.107 which is practically behind the stage. i`ve had seats there in the past and they blow hard. the sound is crap and if i`m paying $180 for tickets, it`s nice to see the faces of the performers. so i phone customer service and he offers me sec 114 for the 107s. well at least i`d be able to see them straight on...if i had binocs....total opposite end of the rink from the stage.so needless to say, i told the ticketbastard dude to kindly go and fuck himself and his company and cancelled my order... why are there scalpers? because people don`t want to deal with the hassle of shit like this. i probably will never buy tickets any other way other than ebay or a private seller where it isn`t a crapshoot and i can be where i want to be. are we ever going to have a hip club like we used to where this stuff would be avoided?

My sis and I showed up at a ticket master we generally never go to expecting to be a part of a crowd...surprise, surprise, surprise...we WERE the lineup...
Long story short, Row 3 on the floor, and no one to compete with. I have a new favourite ticketmaster:-)

I use presales as my first shot at tickets, got me third row seats at the Dome for the last tour, Front Row at the Jube...pretty good I'd say. This year, I struck out, but am confident something will come up. To compare, the newly reformed Police are much richer than they used to be, based on super high ticket prices, supplemented by $100 per show fan club memberships that I hear got no one good tickets, Hip Club free???? I think it's fantastic.
Face it, the Hip are a big band in Canada, they're not going to play for $35 anymore, I don't think anyone will...

i`m with ya all the way billy. with the old hip clubs run, i never had worse than first 10 rows, at any show i wanted to go to....now i`m lucky to get in the first 20 rows and its difficult to justify paying $180,plus hotel, gas etc, being that far back when i got used to seeing the band from so close up. now we have guys from new york or somewhere selling like 15 sets of tickets for the same show that are closer than mine and that just aint right

I think the difference is that the Hip (or their direct associates) delegated the presale tickets with THC, but now Ticketmaster decides how many and which tickets are available for the presales. That's what I assume, anyway.

Are The Hip the ones setting the prices for seats?
