I will saw though that Black Pistol Fire was excellent. Even if I paid the twenty-five bucks, it would have been well worth the price of admission. Great energy ! Great set!

I have been raving about these guys for almost 4 years.....one of the best live bands out there right now..

That Dragonboat lineup is really impressive -- I'm out of town, but racing back to try and catch Matt Mays on Sunday.

Looks like I'm scaling back from Ottawa Bluesfest this year... only going three nights instead of the whole festival.

Foos were great last night, though you can tell the screaming is starting to take a toll on Grohl's voice.
Gotta be one of the better live acts out there right now.
For the others who went - I found The Beaches to be quite good, but I really didn't dig the Struts - find the frontman entirely unlikeable. What did you think?

I agree with everything you said schaggs- foo fighters were great but I was hoping for a good show from the struts but didn’t get it. I missed Beaches but heard they were great.

My line of the night Thursday about The Struts: "I liked them better when they were the Darkness."
I'll elaborate: I'm fully aware they're two completely different bands. I also hated the Darkness.
Saturday caps off four shows in seven days for me. Greta Van Fleet, Dave Matthews Band, Foo Fighters, Weezer/Pixies. Gordon Lightfoot was Canada Day. Lauryn Hill is next week. July has been busy and worth every penny so far.

Was anybody up close enough to see whos picture that was on Taylor Hawkins drum kit?? I know he changes photos out (was Chris Cornell a while back), but almost looked like it was Gord?? Looked at a few videos online as well, but still not a close enough pic to tell for certain? Haven’t seen or read anything about it, so assuming it isn’t.

Doesn’t really look like him to me, almost looks like someone with a moustache and goatee, but hard to tell for certain.
