You Boston fans sound like you won the Cup...Its a long road let's see if we still are hearing you gloat in a month...Ya I doubt it
ahh somebody is not happy!! I'm a boston fan and I don't think we won the cup. It just feels almost as good. You know what you can do with your excuses...Markov is injured (Big Deal), the problem with the Canadiens is Markov goes down and he is your best defenseman. Montreal has beaten many times in history, because they were better. They had better goaltending with the likes of Dryden and Roy. That is history the Bruins are better in every facet of hockey period. It's not our faulty that Montreal is playing like shit....if it looks like shit, smells like shit...

Boston could win the cup twice this year, and they would still suck ass like a vacuum at a donkey show.

Now that is funny....I know how I felt last year when Boston lost to Montreal in game 7. I feel your pain, but sorry Montreal is a bad team. The "stars" on Montreal have been invisible. The only time I notice Koivu last game was when Kobasew blew by him to take the puck and put it into the yawning cage... Price has no confidence and Kovalev, well Kovalev is a douchebag...
3 down 1 to go !!

Good enough, but it won't be the Canadiens...So I don't really understand how you as a
habs fan have any say after we lose to another team....???

Oh don't worry I won't comment it will just be satisfaction enough to see it happen...You know I never really understood how Canadians become fans of American teams

One thing I can say about Leaf fans at least they are fans of a team in Canada. Do you go for team USA in Olympics, junior tournament?

Sour grapes much?
As a fan of an American team, I`ll explain how I became one to help you understand. i grew up in Sask. where we didn`t have a team so I was a fan of players more so than teams. Lemieux became a penguin and he captivated me, so I became a fan of the Pens and remain one to this day. Countless hours on the outdoor rink in my Lemieux jersey playing against buddies in their Gretzky jerseys(LA ones btw) emulating our idols. I cheer for Canada when it comes to the Olympics et al.
When I look at a great number of Habs fans and the class they have,or lack thereof, I thank the heavens Mario never was a Hab. Enjoy the golf season

Well thanks for that insightful observation. I love Canada, I cheer for Canada in any type of circumstance,game,etc...
My dad was a huge Bruins fan and believed that Bobby Orr was/is god. My dad totally convinced me to become a Bruins fan by watching and listening to Bruins games as often as possible. My favorite players are canadian.. I personally cheer for the Canadian team all the time (unless playing the Bruins) I would love to see Vancouver and Calgary advance this year. I live in Hamilton and if for some reason Hamilton was to ever get a NHL team I would totally become a Hamilton fan and still have a soft spot for the Bruins...

Oh ya shit I forgot they had a team in Pittsburgh...Only a matter of time before they fold up shop because of there fair whether fans. You talk about class, Habs fans may get a little overly exited because of their passion but you will never see us not supporting the team good or bad years.
Good luck to your team enjoy it while it lasts

As a fan of neither of these teams, nor am I a Canadian, I don't know how valuable my input is. But who can blame a B's fan for gloating a bit for his team FINALLY shaking of those playoff ghosts? Sure it sucks for Hab fans, especially on a predominantly Canadian (Canadien?) site, but it kind of stinks of sour grapes...

Yep it is sour grapes but all in good fun I don't think anyone is taking it serious at least I'm not just good ol' hardcore hockey talk amongst Canadian's :thumb:

you`re a clown....with a new arena and 100+ consecutive sellouts, the pens aren`t going anywhere. when you talk about support, do you mean 20,000 people jeering Price when he stops a dump in? with fans like that, who needs enemies? you could even tell that the players and management are disgusted with their own fans, and rightfully so....FORE!!!

I am not down on Price he will be ok but last time I checked they are pros make millions and the fans have a right...Last time I checked if I did not perform at my job I would be out!
They are just used to Stanley Cups in Montreal and it has been a while.
As far as players and Management are concerned they don't like it well they are all on the hot seat for that kind of year. Last time I checked the fans pay their salaries...overpaid and none of them performed you and I would be gone! :x

Don't look now, but the Calgary has tied the series. The Hawks are in trouble if they don't find a way to counter the Flames' non-stop pounding of their star players.
FLAMES IN 6!!!
