The cost of the Pearl Jam shows almost caused us not to go, but I won the argument* using the "when we're 50/60/70 do we want to look back and think about that time we saved money or that time we saw Pearl Jam at Wrigley Field?" angle. (* - my wife still doesn't know I won the lottery.) But yeah, it's gonna be a very points-heavy weekend - I'm lucky that I travel a fair bit for work and have Aeroplan/hotel points racked up for occasions such as this.

I actually didn't think the ticket prices were too bad, for a major band, considering the times. I remember wanting to see Tom Petty on his last tour, but once I saw ticket prices for his show in Vancouver, it was an easy no. Yes, I have to travel to Seattle for these shows, but it worked out to about $160 CDN per ticket, which I think is reasonable. I don't think I could pay much more for any concert, but PJ in Seattle is pretty sweet. Also, scoring a GA ticket for that band is pretty great; I've always had decent but not great seats when I've seen them before, so it is definitely worth it to be up close.
Enjoy Wrigley Field; I've been there once years ago for a Cubs game and it's a legendary site.
