Obviously the habs want Sundin or Hossa, but even if they can land one of the two, i think they should give serious consideration to going after Recchi and/or Selanne as well...especially if Ryder is gone (not that he was the biggest difference maker, but he was one of their better right-wingers).

I have no idea what direction the New York Rangers are planning on going in, a number of key veterans are all unrestricted, and non have resigned yet...Jaromir Jagr, Michael Rozsival, Martin Straka, Brendan Shanahan, Sean Avery, etc.
I really hope they find a way to get Jagr signed, i'll be greatly disappointed if they don't. From what i've read, Jagr is after a 2 year contract, while the Rangers prefer just a one year pact. I like to believe they'll be able to agree to terms on a deal to keep him in NY.
Rozsival has been the teams best defensemen since the lockout, and i'd like to see him return as well. If he signs elsewhere, then it leaves a huge hole on blueline, at least temporarily (if Rozy isn't resigned, chances are another offensive defensemen will be).
It doesn't appear Sean Avery will be back, i really haven't heard anything on the Shanahan front, i have a feeling he won't be a Ranger next season...and finally Straka, i really hope he comes back, especially if Jagr resigns.

Looks like the Oil have traded Stoll and Greene to L.A. for Lubomir Visnovsky. Considering the way Stoll played last season, and Greene hasn't shown Lowe's promised potential, this trade seems to be a good one for Edmonton, who now have two defencemen who can score in Vishnovsky and Souray.

The Lightning have also added Radim Vrbata & Adam Hall today. Malone, Prospal, Roberts, Vrbata, Hall...the Lightning sure have been busy thus far, just as ownership stated they would be.
I really don't know a whole lot about Jeff Finger, is he really worth $3.5 million a year?
I'm still waiting for something to happen from the NYR camp, they've only signed Aaron Voros so far, and all of their own UFA's are still on the market.

The Leafs signed Cujo to a $700,000 one-year deal.
