something i asked myself after the nhl awards...how does nabakov get first all star team and brodeur wins vezina? first all star means top at his position does it not?

I think most times the winner of the Vezina invariably ends up being the First All-Star team goalie.. but the two selections are voted on by different groups of people. The Vezina by the 30 General Managers, and the All-Star teams by the Professional Hockey Writers' Association. :?
did not know that, makes a bit more sense seeing as how close the 2 were stats wise

some fantastic news...glen healy is leaving cbc to take a position in the nhlpa. already looking forward to not have to listen to his sour & bitchy commentating next year
