No luck for me. Tried for the October 23rd show. I got to the screen where I could order tickets, clicked on 'pick up at ticketmaster outlet', clicked submit, then it brought me back to another 'word verification' screen! Tickets were gone by the time I got past that. Arrrrg!!!!

nothing -- I understand it's a lottery, but I'd like to know how many out there registered (uh em -- scalpers) over the last few days....
I think they should have cut off the registration before they announced the dates, IMO.
I'll stop crying now -- congrats to those lucky ones who got tickets.

I guess we're assuming... we should probably wait until it is confirmed officially before getting too excited.

Okay everybody...
Since 5 after 7 my time (currently it's 7:54) ---- I've been pacing holes in my apartment - reading all the comments - and getting more and more nervous as time goes by. At first I was thinking, I want tickets to at least 2 of the 4 shows in vancouver --- but now, I'll be happy with just one show. Did anyone feel like they shouldn't have tried for the first show that - maybe they lost time and should have originally gone for maybe the 3rd???.... Just a thought.
Also, for those who have been there already - should I have the Hip site open and logged in as well as the Ticketmaster site? or should I also have the HOB site??? I'm all of a sudden confused and scared I'm going to get stuck with the all too infamous "type it again word" & ultimately lose out.
I would be happy with any pre-game peptalk...
Cheers to those who got tickets - sorry to those who didn't (I'm thinking I'll be joining you soon). :jump

I just went to thehip.com and hit "Refresh" at around 10 o'clock. The links pop up with the passwords. If you're feeling ambitious, use ticketmaster.com instead of ticketmaster.ca--it's way, WAY faster.

I wagered it all on TO-22 and reading the thread it looks like most folks got tickets for TO-23/24 - so if I was to do it again I would have went after the 23 or 24th shows first -
