After seeing the Tuesday setlist, I figured we were in for much of the same, the boys are still getting their legs. Then I get hit with Cinnamon Girl --> Betterman. The show to me is one highlight after another; when Eddie gave his wine to those in the front rows to "pass around" during Crazy Mary just might have been one of the cooler arena moments ever (Eddie takes the number one slot for jumping into the rear bowl at the Fort William Gardens during Last Kiss in September). The Beast of Burden tease was the perfect ending to a great Ledbetter.

What a night. About 2 hours, 45 minutes of rock and roll bliss. I could go on, but I have a job interview in a bit that is requiring my attention.

Cheers,

Pat

"Wash" and/or "Sleight of Hand" would have made my head explode--so really, I'm happy we didn't get either one of those. I like having a head. The chances of me rejoining this tour at some point are at approximately 100% now; ]V[ANTIS, I'll let you know ASAP about Cleveland/Detroit, it's not looking good for those two dates, but I'll keep you posted...last night's show has every chance of making me do really stupid things in the name of Pearl Jam. Big Grin

Maybe you bought your Posters from me ? I was selling them right at the entrance beside the information booth...

I sold posters until 8:40... got paid $50 and then went down to the soundboard and watched all 2 hours & 45 min. of the show...

1st timer for me.... the show really got legs.... and ran and ran..

the Beasts of Burden outro at the end of the night was nice...

I just got back to Winnipeg and I'm too tired to give a full review of each show but out of the five shows I've been to (which includes The Gorge last year) I think the second night is my favourite one I've seen.

So I am dying to know...how is Come Back live???? Is it as beautiful - if not more - than the album version?
