1 for 6 now. Guess I was just lucky the first day. There is just something about the Timmies. I like Second Cup coffee better, but sometimes you just need the XL double double. Out here in Durham we have a serious tim's issue. There is one about every 4 blocks and from about 6:30 to 9 am the drive-thrus are all lined up onto the road and in the store the lines go out the front doors. At my office in T.O we have one right across the street and although it is always busy, it has nothing on the Durham Tims. Anybody else notice some Timmies crazy communities?

Well let's see if this counts:

After Hurricane Juan, Sackville (Lwr, Upr & all points in between) was the only part of Halifax to have power. Needless to say the panic set in as people realized the degree of damage done by the storm & so the line ups @ the gas stations got so bad the cops had to stop people from entering Sackville @ it's two main points of entry from the city, if you didn't have ID showing you were a resident, you weren't getting in. Well as you can guess the line ups @ The Hortons were as bad as the gas pumps & rumour has it, they actually ran out of coffee (oh the horror! - not a coffee drinker - definitely sarcasism) @ a couple of the locations. I'd like to say that there was more concern for the gas running out but ... I doubt it.

BTW - taking up Hot Chocolate to see if I can win anything - 0 for 1

I saw something on the news this morning where a little girl in Quebec found a cup in the garbage, tried to unroll the rim but couldn't, so an older girl helped her. Well, the girls won the car, both parent's were called in and both claim the car is theirs....ALWAYS ROLL UP YOUR RIM PEOPLE! And don't let anyone help you while you do it, or their day may beat up your dad

I couldn't believe this when I heard it on the radio this morning. The mother of the older child should be embarrassed for her behaviour. Trying to claim the whole thing! The greed is unbelievable. I think she just wants it for herself, and that she wants attention. Why else would she call in to a radio station for legal advice? Unfortunately, I think a lot of the attention she is getting is negative.

oh, I am 1 for 12 now, and refills in the tim mug taste nothing like the paper cup so maybe it is crack in there.....

I have a coffee and two doughnuts. Not bad, but the guy behind me in line last night is friends with a guy that won a car. I think Roll Up the Rim is the Canadian version of the Kevin Bacon game.
