For most of today before I closed it down, the I was uploading at zero. I just reopened it now, and it's working fine, but how come it was doing nothing? Just out of curiosity

I've finally got it downloading myself, slowly but surely. I've been having a lot of trouble with my firewall, so no one is getting anything off of me on almost every torrent I've downloaded this week, so my download times have sucked because of this. At a whoping 3% with 15 hours to go.

Regardless of the troubles on my end, this is a great thing Chris. Thanks so much! (and that Sam Roberts cd is in the mail tomorrow)

Pardon me, my ignorance is exposed; I tried MakeTorrent (for the first time) and had a problem uploading the torrent. It seems as if the torrent was succesfully created but even though I copied the "announce url" and pasted it into MakeTorrent I got the following error mesage when I tried to upload:

Upload Failed
Invalid announce url! It MUST be <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://tracker.ideahotel.com/announce.php">http://tracker.ideahotel.com/announce.php</a><!-- m -->!

I was attempting to post a tracker for one file, the Fear No Art video of NOIS/West Wind/dirty ABAC in mpeg format. It's one of my favorites and I thought it may be good to try one file before I try to tackle an entire boot.

Is it me? Should I use different program to make the torrent? Are users not yet able to upload?

"The ID has been found on the Database, but the I can't find the torrent file! "

is it down? :roll: or am I doing something wrong?

Try the link on page 3...Chris posted a link in the third message up from the bottom of the page. It worked for me. :thumb:

Users should be able to upload torrents, but I'll look into in, and double check all of the settings.

I'll post in this thread if and when I get it working.

Funny thing is happening, I have been seeding the show for the last day, and plan on keeping it open, but my user control panel is not being updated. Currently I have a share ratio of 1.19, but it's not being saved by the tracker.

If you click on the actual # for seeders/leechers (for stats), you'll see your current ratio, although you are correct, the main page of the tracker isn't being updated.

Your data indicates a share ratio of 1.44 on every page for you that I can view.

The tracker updates at intervals depending on your client software, and the timing that I set for the server. Perhaps the update times just hadn't synchronized when you checked.

I've been uploading/downloading for almost 8 hours, and my user cp indicates 0.0 kb uploaded/0.0 kb downloaded while my bitTorrent client reads 521UL/436DL. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place, but it says the same thing on the main page of the tracker, when I connect. Just thought you should know.
