Duran Duran was an early favorite of mine....cringe
I was feeling rather nostalgic the other night and leafed through my cd's from the good 'ol days. I got a kick out of listening to Kingdon Come, anyone remember them? Living out of touch....

I went through a white-soul phase in the late 80's-early 90's and bought a really bad Glen Frey album once. Damned if I can remember what it was called.
Coincidentially, Glen Frey was in one of the worst movies ever made (another thread topic, I know.....). Guess someone's glad he's in the Eagles.....

Don't ask why but I have Michelle Branch's first album. I hate bubble gum pop and I thought "ah, a pop album built on light guitar and a chick who actually writes her own stuff". There were a couple of good songs but my hatred of pop overcame it and now I couldn't even listen to it if I was in the need for something peppy. R.E.M. and Blue Rodeo now fill that void. Sadly I can't even use the excuse that I was young and foolish because it was only like three years ago.
